HAPPY 100! Janie Davis Hayes

SEAGROVE — Janie Davis Hayes of Seagrove celebrated her 100th birthday on Feb. 8, 2010. To celebrate, a birthday party in her honor was held at the home of her son in Seagrove. She is a native of Erect and the widow of James Hayes. They have six children – Fred Hayes of Seagrove, the late Faye Powers of Bennett, Bonnie Evans of Greensboro, Ruby Brady of Asheboro, Wayne Hayes of Asheboro and Phyllis Hammond of Asheboro. She has 11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
