WEDDING: Neelon-Little


Chrissy Genene Little of Asheboro became the bride of Christopher Michael Neelon of Asheboro on Saturday, April 25, 2009, on the beach at Topsail Island, N.C., with Pastor Staton officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Roger and Glenda Little of Seagrove. She is the granddaughter of Cleo and Geneva Brown of Asheboro and Cecil and Allene Yow of Asheboro. She is a 1998 graduate of Southwestern Randolph High School and a 2002 graduate of East Carolina University. She is a pottery teacher at Southwestern Randolph High School.

The groom is the son of Mike and Trina Neelon of Albemarle. He is the grandson of George and Lucille Nealey of Berlin Heights, Ohio. He is a 1999 graduate of Albemarle High School, served four years in the U.S. Navy and is employed in Albemarle.

The bride was given in marriage by Roger Little, father of the bride. The matron of honor was Suzanne Bryant of High Point, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tracy Little of Asheboro, sister-in-law of the bride; Jennifer Neelon of Albemarle, sister of the groom; and Christy Overcash of Asheboro, friend of the bride.

The best man was Mike Neelon, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Sean Neelon of Albemarle, brother of the groom; Scot Little of Asheboro, brother of the bride; and Rusty Story of Albemarle, friend of the groom.

Other participants were flower girl Emma Little, the bride’s niece of Asheboro, and ring bearer Colton Bryant, the bride’s nephew of High Point.

The reception was held at a beach house at Topsail Beach. Participants in the reception were Hilda Garner of Asheboro, aunt of the bride, and Candace Garner of Burlington, cousin of the bride.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Rome, Italy. They live in Asheboro.
