Anniversary: The Lucks

Mary and David Luck of Asheboro observed their 50th anniversary on July 3, 2010. To celebrate they renewed their vows at Hopewell Friends Church in a July 3 ceremony officiated by the Rev. Alex Shelton. They were married by W.M. Newton in Bennetsville, S.C.

David Luck is a native of Asheboro and is retired from Bost Neckwear in Asheboro. Mary Kinley Luck is a native of Asheboro and is retired from Klaussner Furniture in Asbeboro.

They met in December 1958 at Hills Skating Rink. The Lucks are members of Ulah Church of God in Asheboro.

They have three children – Johnny Luck, Tim Luck and Kevin Luck, all of Asheboro. They have four grandchildren – Jacob, Luke, Noah and Brent Luck, all of Asheboro.
