Stephanie LeAnn Laughlin of Lexington became the bride of Marcus Shane Wilson of Lexington on April 10, 2010, at First Wesleyan Church in Randleman with Rev. Huey Turner officiating.
The bride is the daughter of David and Cynthia Laughlin of Randleman and the granddaughter of Dot Laughlin of Randleman, the late Leonard Laughlin and Howard and Lola Maness of Asheboro.
She is a 1995 graduate of Randleman High and a 2005 graduate of High Point University where she received a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education.
She is a kindergarten teacher at Southmont Elementary in Davidson County.
The groom is the son of David and Ronda Wilson of Lexington and the grandson of Ruth Wilson of Lexington, the late Herbert Wilson, and the late Holt and Janice Lanier. He is a 1995 graduate of Central Davidson High and is an electrician with Cecil Electric.
The bride was given in marriage by David Laughlin, father of the bride.
The matron of honor was Marsha Cook of Raleigh, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sheila Stines of Sophia and Jennifer Edwards of Thomasville, both friends of the bride.
The best man was David Wilson, father of the groom.
Groomsmen were Mitchell Wilson of Lexington and Michael Wilson of Lexington, both brothers of the groom.
Ushers were Leland Laughlin of Randleman, brother of the bride, and Christian Burris of Lexington, nephew of the groom.
Other participants were flower girls Bailie Cook of Raleigh, friend of the bride, and Morgan Simmons of Troy, cousin of the bride; ring bearers Lee Laughlin of Randleman, nephew of the bride, and Hayden Wilson of Lexington, nephew of the groom; and miniature bride Cynthia Laughlin of Randleman, niece of the bride.
The reception was held in the church fellowship hall in Randleman.
Participants in the reception were servers Irene Surratt, Gwen Newcomb, Teresa Blackwell and Nancy Hunt.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn. They live in Lexington.
