Gary and Sandy Hatley of Stanfield, formerly of Seagrove, announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Lynn Hatley of Matthews, to Nathan Lee Brooks of Mount Pleasant, son of Michael and Pam Brooks of Mount Pleasant.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of West Stanly High School and a 2009 graduate of Pfeiffer University.
She is a math teacher at Marvin Ridge High School in Union County.
The groom-elect is a 2006 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School and a 2009 graduate of Pfeiffer University.
He is a youth director of Glorieta Baptist Church in Concord.
The wedding is planned for Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Glorieta Baptist Church in Concord.
