RCC mini-mester registration is March 1

ASHEBORO — If you didn’t get signed up for college classes in January, it is not too late. Randolph Community College’s Mini-Mester format provides an opportunity for students to sign up for classes in mid semester and still earn some credits before the end of the spring.

The Mini-Mester compresses classes normally held over 16 weeks into eight weeks. Classes offered for the second eight-week Mini-Mester at RCC include general education courses such as Art Appreciation, Introduction to Communication, Expository Writing, Literature-Based Research, Western Civilization II, American History I, Technology and Society, American Women’s Studies, Music Appreciation, Philosophical Issues, State & Local Government, General Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, World Religions, Sociology of the Family, and Intermediate Spanish. Some classes are held on campus and some are distance education/online courses. Course availability is limited.

Registration will be held from 9 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. March 1 in the Student Services Center on the Asheboro Campus. Archdale-area residents can register at the Archdale Center during the same hours. Mini-Mester classes start March 9 and end May 10.

Call the admissions office at (336) 633-0224 for more information or visit www.randolph.edu/academics/schedule.php for a spring semester schedule.
