ARCHDALE —
Martha Ann Hoover Wood, 76, of Archdale, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at High Point Regional Hospital.
The funeral was held Aug. 27, 2010, at Cumby Family Funeral Service with the Rev. Karen Hudson officiating. Burial was at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
She was a High Point native, had worked for Electric Supply Co. and was a member of Welch Memorial United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Max R. Wood of the home; daughters, Susan Williard of High Point and Marian Workman of Thomasville; sons, David Wood of High Point and William Wood of Archdale; sister, Nancy Mcdowell of Archdale; brothers, James R. Hoover of Pigeon Forge, Tenn., and Robert L. Hoover of High Point; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
