Herbert Pugh

FRANKLINVILLE — Herbert Wesley Pugh, 92, of Franklinville, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at Randolph Hospital.

The funeral was held Aug. 27, 2010, at Agape Faith Church in Clemmons, with Pastor Robert Barr and the Rev. Doug Miller presiding. Burial was at Grays Chapel United Methodist Church cemetery.

He was a Randolph County native, widower of Lola Bunting Pugh, member of Grays Chapel United Methodist Church, World War II Army veteran, retired from the U.S. Postal Service and member of the Lions Club.

Surviving are daughter, Gwen Sutton of Lewisville; sisters, Juanita Strades of Lugolf, S.C., and Joyce Pates of Bethesda, Md.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
