Charles Kuhn Sr.

GREENSBORO — Charles Russell Kuhn Sr., 87, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010.

A memorial service was held Aug. 27, 2010, at First Baptist Church in Liberty, where he was a member.

He was a Raleigh native, World War II veteran, N.C. State University graduate, had worked for Allsheer Hosiery Mills, Kellwood and Randolph County Schools, was a former Liberty Town Council member, past president of the Liberty Rotary Club and former chairman of the Liberty ABC Board.

Surviving are his wife, Lib Kuhn; son, Charles Kuhn Jr. of Greensboro; daughter, Nancy Kuhn Henwood of Washington, D.C.; one granddaughter.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Liberty or Friends Home West in Greensboro.
