In my column on Global Warming, climatologist Dr. Roy Spencer opined that CO2 is an extremely weak factor in world temperature control.
He felt that other reasons must have led to the proliferation of alarmists like Al Gore.
To combat the as yet unproven threat to the world’s well-being from increasing levels of CO2, huge expenses are proposed which will be a great burden on us all. However, poor folks will be hit the hardest.
Therefore it is my humble opinion that the whole Global Warming alarm is a control device. Our present Congressional leadership and our leader-in-chief are definitely control freaks.
But waiting behind all this, ready to take advantage of the huge government takeovers, inflation, and the demolition of most of our free enterprise system, are the world governance advocates.
Talk about control! Those who want America to become a little fish in a big bowl are popping up everywhere – including quite a few here in America.
They are waiting in the wings to take over whenever our country’s leadership has redistributed our wealth effectively and essentially destroyed our economy.
Do not snicker. It will happen – but not right away. We who love America should be aware of these forces, so we can postpone world government as long as possible.
That is the bad news on which I will elaborate next. I will end this column with some very good news. Both the good and the bad news of our future are revealed by God in the book of Revelation.
Revealing the future is no problem for God. As my minister recently said, “God knows everyone’s future because He has already been there.” The world’s future includes a period of real Global Warming, not the hoax that is presently being used to gain control over you and your liberties.
Revelation, beginning in Chapter Four, tells of a largely unified world under the leadership of a single man. This man has achieved his position of Numero Uno by presenting a rather brilliant plan of economic restoration and by extermination of most of his opposition.
His domination does not include Israel, which is the strongest country by far not under his ruthless control. In secret he has made a league with Satan himself. He then decides to bide his time by forming a seven-year non-aggression pact with Israel.
A world church is also under his control. This has happened as a result of two things: (1) the mysterious, sudden disappearance of a Christian Church that had grown virtually indomitable and (2) the remaining “religious” people being completely devoted to ecumenity, diversity, and pluralism, people clearly vulnerable to satanic deceit.
The government runs the church while being most generous to its officials and the church pledges its allegiance to the one-world leader. God is served by neither.
The details of how this came into being are not provided. And dates are unknown. But the material with which to establish world governance is appearing now. For instance, patriotism is politically incorrect in many areas of the country.
Our Supreme Court for the first time in our history has justices who consider international law to be superior to our own Constitution. Some of our national leaders love all things foreign and downgrade America.
Various Washington bureaucrats, both elected and appointed, frequently are videoed voicing their admiration for Castro, Mao, or Chavez.
As we consider all this, is it not interesting, to say the least, that our president’s senior thesis is missing (see Tyler Younts’s Nov. 4 column)?
And what about the 50-odd pages removed from Obama’s autobiography Dreams before the present edition came out? The thesis reportedly contained anti-Constitution statements, and the original book reportedly contained a lot of Saul Alinsky’s radical socialism, which Obama taught as a community organizer in Chicago.
Do not worry – Obama is not the world leader of Revelation. But they do share some remarkable similarities as their promises of peace and economic well-being become absolute disasters.
(Obama has not gotten there yet, but unless he can be stopped, he will bring about major disaster.) The world leader of the future gets in such a terrible mess that his rule is called the Great Tribulation.
The Global Warming in the Great Tribulation is found in Chapter 16, verses 8 and 9. It is one of 19 plagues we are warned about, the fourth in the second half of the tribulation period.
The plagues are more spread out than the plagues in Egypt before the Israelites left for the Promised Land, but the similarities are evident.
The heat will be blamed on God, but the likelihood is that nuclear explosions have destroyed the ozone layer and allowed the unbearable heat.
The good news involves the huge number of Christians that disappeared before the world leader consolidates his vast domain.
Before this disappearance, the real Church has been greatly expanded as the result of the last and most magnificent of all the awakenings unto God in the history of humanity. It will be associated with millions of miracles and the salvation of Jews and Gentiles in huge numbers.
Many people are perplexed and somewhat fearful of Revelation, but for those who love God the future holds wonderful expectations. What do you think?
