As I finish my days as Community Relations Director for Randolph County Schools, I want to express my deep appreciation county-wide for the never ending support that I have received on behalf of the school system. I’ve asked for many “unthinkable” requests and received assistance to address the needs of our students and their families. I have represented Randolph County Schools with much pride and dedication and it is my hope that my efforts benefited the students, employees, and communities. My involvement with the chambers of Archdale/Trinity, Asheboro/Randolph, Randleman and Liberty allowed many opportunities to get our schools and communities working together for the betterment of our schools. Without the cooperation of businesses, companies, and individuals, these doors would not have been opened and I’m so appreciative of that support.
To the media – a special “thank you” for always working so diligently to report any story as fairly as possible and for always covering the “good” news in our schools. It has been a pleasure working so cooperative with you in regards to our school system.
I couldn’t close without saying a special thank you to Hopewell Friends Meeting, Operation Red Sleigh, Brighter Christmas, Salvation Army, Klaussner Home Furnishings, Timken Company, Toys for Tots, PCC-Golf for Tots, the many individuals who were secret Santa for Christmas Cheer, Social Workers, Guidance Counselors (Randolph County Schools), and my friends in the Central Office of Randolph County Schools for making Christmas special for so many of our students and their families.
To all who make up the communities in a county that I love …thank you, thank you for the opportunity to live where people never stop caring and giving. “When A Hand Reaches Out To Help Another…That Is Christmas”…that’s Randolph County – I’m proud to call it home!
