Zoo to remain closed thru Saturday
ASHEBORO — The N.C. Zoo will remain closed to the public on Feb. 6 due to the most recent frozen precipitation. But the park will resume regular winter operating hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily on Feb. 7. The zoo has been closed since Jan. 30 as the result of winter weather that left walkways and service roads hazardous for visitors. Zoo employees will report to work Saturday under Inclement Weather Plan A.
